What's for Dinner?

Some thing my youngest ABSOLUTELY LOVES is pigs-in-a-blanket. I make them quite often, however, sometimes you run out of pigs for the blanket and that's where the creativity is endless. I happen to grab every lunch meat and cheese we had in the draw and proceeded to make my own meats-in-a-blanket! You try! Soooo good, especially on a Sunday afternoon during football or before a huge nightly meal. Keeps those hunger callings at bay. 

Premade refrigerated cookie dough. Plus homemade icing and voila!!  (Plus sprinkles) 

We get those deliver to your home meals sometimes and one of the recipes was this one. They are good and convenient however after a while they all start to have a similar taste to each other.  So we decided I could get take these ideas and make them my own. Here is mine and it's delicious!!!

In the beginning I made two kinds of chicken. One for the meal now and one for later. The bigger piece of chicken has a Tuscan seasoning and other flavors to let the flavors cook on that piece while the others cook. I will use this for a later meal, either wraps or another pasta dish. My family prefers more sauce than chicken. The little pieces I put in the Alfredo sauce for the family, while I created my own little sauce with tomatoes and spinach! Yummmmmmy.  The sauce is bottled, but I do put more seasoning and flavor added, cuz the bottles sauce is bland to me.  I also make my own garlic bread, white bread, Parm cheese and garlic seasoning or salt depending on your preference, broiled in the oven until golden,  so good!! 

I have never made anything mixed in ranch dip before and it's delicious!!! Corn Dip with Rotel and Cheese! Gonna add a garnish of avocado right before we go ... Made a homemade chocolate cake too, but didn't get a picture of it, sorry. 

This one is called Taco Pasta.   Going to add all my favorites. Like corn and black beans, cheese, salsa, taco seasoning... yummy!
